Gratuity not included and would strongly recommend bringing cash. Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve federal entry fee not included (MX$218 / approx. US$12 per person), collected by CONANP to support conservation. Pay on arrival at our cooperative’s palapa (card or cash).

Not Suitable For

Pets (protected area regulations), unaccompanied elderly, and pregnant women in their final 6 weeks of pregnancy due to boat movement risks. Children under 4 only with full adult supervision.

What to Bring

Bring sunglasses, a hat, a long-sleeve sun shirt for extra sun protection, biodegradable sunscreen, towel, swimwear, change of clothes, and a non-plastic reusable water bottle.

Alcohol, drugs, drones, vaping, smoking, regular sunscreen, and plastic bottles are not allowed. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted on the tour.

(6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Hotel pick-up, traditional Mayan breakfast (Only in 6:00 AM version), lagoon boat ride, peaceful canal float, wildlife watching, scenic pause at the lagoon-sea connection in Boca Paila, and traditional Mayan lunch.
